I decided to overdye the pink and lavender alpaca since the pink was so bright. These dyes are so strong. I used just a little blue to tone down the brightness of the pink. It turned out so much better. There's not much pink now, it's really a lavender yarn now but it's so much nicer.

While I was at it, I also decided to try pink again, this time with much restraint. I wanted a very soft pink, something I could make a nice lace shawl with. I was very careful with the amount of dye and it turned out lovely, with very subtle shades of soft pink. (long sigh) I love hand dyeing yarn.
